In the transport industry they have "Drivers" and they have "Operators". The security industry is no different. We call our drivers shirt fillers or warm bodies.

- Is anyone around you acting in a strange manner.
- Offenders do not walk up and introduce themselves
Knowledge of your job ie
- If you are questioned, what act of government are you operating under
- What are you protecting?
- Why are you protecting it?
- What are the risks associated with the job?
- What is the procedure if something goes wrong?
- Have these procedures been tested?
- What are the contact details or who do you call when something goes wrong?
- If you are carrying a baton (or any other weapon), are you preapred to use it?
